The SCHRY-WAY MB Series of quality metal bound cases has been designed and manufactured to meet the demand for lower cost heavy-duty, reusable shipping containers. Because of the thousands of different combination of sizes available, it is impossible to publish a complete list of prices. However, prices for the MB series are generated from standard pricing formulas entered into our computer. Call for latest pricing information.

The cases are intended for use in a variety of industries as the best possible way to package and protect valuable precision instruments for both storage and shipping purposes.

There are seven styles from which to choose:

Note: Maximum width for hinged lids is 30". For wider cases use MB3... style (lift-off lid). To Order Specify: Style - Length x Width x Height - Depth of bottom section (i.e. MB1C - 30x24x18 - 15). For load weights over 150 pounds we recommend adding a double bottom and 4x4 Douglas Fir skids secured with 3/8 carriage bolts. Specify by adding SKID to part number.
Example - MB1C - 30x24x18 - 15 - SKID.

FEATURES

Variety

There is an extensive selection of styles available. Sizes range in combinations of 12" to 95" in length, 9" to 47" in width and 9" to 48" in height. The minimum depth for the lid section is 2" and for the bottom section 4". All dimensions are inside.

Hardware

Catches are recessed zinc plated steel. Chest Handles are heavy duty zinc plated steel. Suitcase handles are steel core vinyl covered, nickel plated. Hinges are continuous aluminum. Corners are 2"x2" zinc plated steel.

Finish

Cases are normally finished with clear polyurethane. Fire retardant and Federal Standard No. 595 colors in industrial enamels are also available.

Quality Construction

MB cases are made of 1/2" maple plywood sides joined with 1 3/8" x 1 3/8" 25 gage galvanized angle.
